Our emphasis on Food Safety begins before raw materials enter our facility with strict supplier quality control programs. These Food Safety programs continue through the production and packaging of all our products. Our Food Safety programs include: HACCP, Allergen Controls, Glass & Brittle Plastics Control, Good Manufacturing Processes, Supplier Review, Environmental Monitoring, Lot Coding and Lot Tracking. As further assurance of the safety and quality of our products, First Spice is monitored during Independent Third-Party Audits.

Our extensive Quality Assurance Program guarantees food safety, quality and consistency in every order we ship and every product we receive. First Spice is committed to total Food Safety. We have a highly trained laboratory staff to ensure consistent color, flavor, aroma and taste.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • FSSC 22000 - Our New York facility has achieved Food Safety System Certification 22000. This food safety certification scheme is fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and accreditation bodies around the world.
  • HACCP - Our Canadian division is a HACCP Certified and recognized production facility.
